My Story

Hi I am Caetlin. I am the owner and chef at Private Chef Ballito

I have always had a passion for food. When I was a little girl my favorite pastime was reading recipe books and baking with my mum.

 

After I matriculated in 2005, I went on to study at Christina Martin School of food and wine. Over the following years I worked in England and South Africa. In 2012 my love of travel and food took me on the adventre of a lifetime where I  joined the yachting industry as a chef . I travelled and worked in various parts of the world including: Canada, America, the Carribean, Bahamas, Europe with my final stop being in Barcelona as a head pastry chef. The food and cultures I experience inspired me and grew my knowledge in various cooking styles.

 

In 2016 I returned back to my hometown of Ballito to start a more settled life.  I started working as a private chef in Ballito. When I am not cooking up a feast in a clients home or delivering freshly made meals I can be found cooking up a storm for my husband and son aka her sous chefs.

 

My experiences catering to every whim of the rich and famous ensure no stone is left unturned to leave your private dining experience is unforgettable... I will always go the extra mile.

As Private Chef Ballito has grown I have been able to develop special relationships with a large group of clients who use my service for all their events. This has allowed me to bring delicious meals and exclusive dining to a variety of clients with a taste for something different.
